Afternoon Tea became a fashionable social event in the 1840's, two hundred years after
the first tea was brought in from China. Since then, it has become a British institution...and a tradition.

If you want to feel truly pampered, we recommend you indulge in an elegant Afternoon Tea with Champagne in The Dorchester's Promenade. Pianist plays daily.

Food
During our last visit here, the
waiter — dressed in black tux and wearing white gloves — served us
a delicious treat that included a fabulous selection of Finger Sandwiches, Scones with Devonshire Clotted Cream and Jam, assorted Pastries, and a wonderful choice of English Teas.

an Afternoon Tea at the the lovely Dorchester Hotel.
