Covent Garden, located in the heart of London, is one of our favorite
places to visit. For Trivia Buffs the glass-roofed Covent
Garden was originally Londons Fruit & Vegetable Market,
where Flower Girl Eliza Doolittle worked in the Hit Musical
"My Fair Lady."
Packed with quaint little Shops and Market Stalls, you can browse
for hours and find everything from Antiques, Jewelry, and Arts &
Crafts, to Clothes, Souvenirs, and Specialty Foods. Oh... and it's also home to Apple's biggest store!
Enjoy an afternoon cup of tea at one of the local cafés,
overlooking the bustling Piazza and performing street artists. Covent
Garden's upbeat atmosphere and its Cosmopolitan crowd make for GREAT
people-watching! It's especially magical during the busy holiday season.
Covent Garden also has fun Restaurants and Bars.
One of London's hottest restaurants
The Ivy is within easy walking
distance. But make sure you have a reservation, because it's
very popular and hard to get into without one.
