We keep coming back to " Carmel's Most Romantic Restaurant," where its quaint little rooms make you feel as if you're dining in a private home.

For more intimate and romantic dining, we prefer the tiny rooms located just off the main entrance. Enjoy outdoor dining on the heated garden terrace — Fountain Patio. Additional more spacious dining areas, including the Milagro Room and Havana Terrace, are located downstairs.

Van Gough's Table in Van Gogh Room at Casanova restaurant in Carmel, California

"Van Gough's Table" Room
This small private room houses
"Van Gough's Table," the table at which Vincent van Gough ate his daily meals in 1890 during the last months of his life while boarding at the Auberge Ravoux in the town of Auvers-Sur-Oise, just north of Paris. The table (pictured above) was donated to Walter Georis, one of the owners of Casanova, in 2002 by the owner of Auberge Ravoux. The Van Gough Room can accommodate 6-8 people.

Fountain Patio
Dine al fresco on the heated Fountain Patio — this is especially nice on warm sunny days and mild nights under the stars. The patio seats up to 25 people.

During warm weather, trees provide partial shade, especially the big one growing thru' the room (see below).

The Milagro Room is decorated as an Alpine Chalet and features a fireplace. Available for private events, the room accommodates up to 30 guests.

Havana Terrace

The Harvest Room
Traditional French Provencal dining room with an open-hearth fireplace can accommodate up to 75 people — ideal for Weddings, Receptions and Corporate Events. The Harvest Room is located on the lower level of Casanova Restaurant.
