Fun Annual Events
The Berkeley Kite Festival
The Berkeley Kite Festival is held every Summer and features
Kite-Making and Kite-Flying Lessons, Taiko Drummers, food, music
and fun hands-on activities.
The Festival takes place at Cesar
E. Chavez Park at the Berkeley Marina, at the end of University
Avenue.
Free Admission. 11am-5pm.

Fourth of July
Fireworks"
Held every year at the Berkeley Marina, the alcohol-free
event runs from 11am-10:30pm. Fun activities include: Live Entertainment,
Arts & Crafts, International Food
Booths, Free Sailboat Rides, Massages, Free Dragon Boat Rides, and
a Fireworks Show. Free admission.
Kids Adventure Playground - 11am-8pm
Sack Races, Face-Painting, Giant Slide... and more!
Live Entertainment - 12 noon - 9pm
Free Sailboat Rides - 1-4pm
Free Dragon Boat Rides - 2-6pm
Fireworks Display starts at 9:30pm and lasts approximately
1/2 hr. Fireworks are launched from the Berkeley Pier at the foot
of University Avenue, but will be visible from all over the Marina
and elsewhere. Automobile access is limited. Free valet bicycle parking.
No cars after 7pm.

Free daily Campus Tours are offered seven days a week. Trained
Student Guides, who are knowledgeable
about the Berkeley campus and student life, lead the 90-minute tours.
Tours Day & Times
Mon-Fri 10am.
Tours leave from the Campus Visitor Center.
Sat 10am and Sun 1pm
Tours begin from the Campanile in the center of Campus.
No reservations required for less
than 10 people.
