Butterflies at Monarch Grove Butterfly Sanctuary,
Pacific Grove on Monterey Peninsula. If you like butterflies,
don't
miss a visit to the outdoor Monarch Grove Butterfly Sanctuary — see
thousands of beautiful butterflies clustered on pine, eucalyptus,
cypress and redwood trees. The Monarch Butterflies arrive
at the Sanctuary in October, where they overwinter until
late
February, before joining in the spring migration. The Sanctuary
is located just minutes from Cannery Row in downtown Monterey.
