Thad Starr of Pleasant Hill, Oregon (pictured above) took Top Prize for the second year in a row — at the 2008 Half Moon Bay World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off.

His Giant Pumpkin tipped the scales at an impressive 1,528 pounds — four pounds more than his winning pumpkin last year... and breaking the 2006 record by over 300 pounds!
