Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen, St. Helena, Napa Valley, California

Cuisine: Northern California

Description & Atmosphere
Cindy Pawlcyn, a James Beard award-winning cookbook author, is the chef and owner of the delightful Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen. Many of you may already be familiar with Cindy's other highly successful Napa Valley "sister" restaurant — Mustards Grill.

This St. Helena "hot spot" is popular with locals and tourists alike. Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen has an upbeat, hip, yet casual atmosphere. Bright, airy and chic — it's the type of place that you'll no doubt want to keep coming back to again and again. It's the place to be!

Food
Cindy's food is sensational — the only downside being that the menu choices are so good, it's hard to know what to order.

The eclectic and innovative menu reflects Cindy's wide-ranging culinary experience. All of the dishes pictured below are fabulous.

The restaurant features several dining rooms — a private loft upstairs works well for group events. Cindy's outside Patio area is ideal for al fresco dining. Its comfortable setting features a large wood-fired oven and a 100 year-old fig tree (photos above and below).
