Tra Vigne's Tuscan-style
restaurant is one of the most popular eateries
in Napa Valley. Its spacious dining room has 30 foot-high ceilings
and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun.
We prefer to dine al fresco, especially when the weather is nice — the
large
patio outside feels very
Mediterranean... and romantic too, especially at night with all the twinkling lights on the trees.
Food
Cuisine combines Italian and Californian influences. While enjoying
a glass of wine and
looking over the menu, we highly recommend ordering the Mozzarella Cheese "Al Minuto" (hand-made at the moment ordered, grilled bruschetta, vestri olio nuovo) — the combination of the warm cheese, olive oil, and crispy bread is incredible. What a way to start your meal! And it goes great with a salad — their Caesar
Salad rates as one of the best.
Stand-out dinner entrées include delicious Homemade Pastas (we love the Sage Infused Pappardelle, braised rabbit ragu, wild mushrooms, and grana padano), local Dungeness Crab, Fresh Fish, Organic Chicken, smoked and braised
Niman Ranch Beef Short Ribs... and more!
Leave room for dessert, even if
you order one with extra forks.
Tra Vigne's version of the classic Tiramisu — house-made
chocolate
Mascarpone layered
with chocolate sponge cake and marsala Zabaglione — is rich and yummy!
Another decadent alternative is the Lemon

like a mini Lemon Meringue pie.

Tra Vigne has four private venues — plus one at the adjoining Merryvale Vineyards —
that are available for special functions.
Cantinetta Tra Vigne
The ivy-covered historic stone building is great for groups of 10-27
people. Available evenings,
Mon-Sat from 7:30pm.
The Tuscan-Style Courtyard
Tra Vigne's atmospheric "piazza" can accommodate between 35-140
guests
(May-October). Shaded by Mulberry trees, the Tuscan-style courtyard
and its striped umbrella tables and bronze fountain sculpture,
is a perfect setting for that
special occasion.
The Vineyard
The Vineyard area, located just outside the wall of the Tuscan
Courtyard, is ideal for intimate groups of 10-20.
Magnum Library
Oak-paneled private dining
room accommodates parties
from 20-70. The Library is
also very private, making it
ideal for business meetings
and seminars.
The Cask Room
at Merryvale Vineyards
The Cask Room is located in Merryvale Winery,
adjacent to
Tra Vigne.
The elegant Cask Room accommodates up to 110 people.
It offers a magical setting, with huge oak-aging barrels lining
its stone walls.

If you're lucky enough to get Walter as your waiter, you're in for
a fun evening. He's knowledgeable, efficient and very entertaining.
