Rubicon Estate
(Formerly Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery)
1991 St. Helena Hwy
Rutherford
707-968-1100

Fountain at Niebaum-Coppola Winery

Description
Formerly Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery — and the Inglenook Estate before that — Rubicon Estate is owned by Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola.

The winery — a 19th century Chateau — has a beautiful courtyard with fountains, pools and park benches modeled after Paris' Luxembourg Gardens.

The main building's first floor houses the original Tasting Room, exhibits, and the history of the Coppola family, the Inglenook estate and the Niebaum wines.

Prize medals that Ingelnook won in the 1889 Paris Exhibition are also on display, along with an Estate Guest Log Book featuring
signatures of legendary Hollywood actors Jean Harlow and Clark Gable.

Upstairs, the main building's
second floor has Coppola's Oscars, film awards and various props and movie memorabilia, including: Don Corleone's desk from "The Godfather," a surfboard from "Apocalypse Now," costumes from "Bram Stoker's Dracula," and the car from "Tucker: A Man and His Dream."

NOTE: Plans call for the Hollywood Museum to move to a new location in Sonoma County, where Coppola bought Chateau Souverain in Geyserville.
