Description
Relatively small — and off the beaten track — Rombauer Vineyards is located north of St. Helena, just north of the intersection of Deer Park Road and the Silverado Trail. Follow the winding road up to the winery — it's a great drive, especially on a nice sunny day.

Rombauer produces several ultra-premium varietal wines, such as Carneros Chardonnay (we really like this one), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Estate Grown Zinfandel from their vineyard, below the winery. In addition, they produce a blended reserve wine called Le Meilleur Du Chai, which means the Best of the Cellar.
