Napa Valley Grapes, Napa Valley Wine Country - Wineriers and Wine-Tasting Tours

The Napa Valley, renowned wine and tourist destination, is located approximately one hour north of San Francisco. It is undeniably one of the most naturally beautiful destinations in the world.

With more than 200 wineries, gourmet restaurants, fine art galleries, boutique shopping, and relaxing spas, Napa Valley has become a magnet for tourists and locals alike.

Make the most of your visit to
Wine Country. Be sure to take
time to visit all the towns of Napa Valley — Yountville, St. Helena, Oakville, Rutherford, Napa, and Calistoga.

Napa Valley Mustard Festival
The Napa Valley Mustard Festival takes place every year during Mustard Season — usually around the end of January through March — a beautiful time of year when the gold wild mustard is in full bloom on Napa's fields, vineyards and hillsides. The scenery can be absolutely breathtaking.

Visitors come here from around the world to enjoy this FUN Wine Country marathon of events — celebrating the Food, Wine, Art, Entertainment and Culture of the Napa Valley.

The Mustard Festival takes place over a two-month period, drawing hundreds of talented chefs, winemakers, gourmet mustard companies, artists, musicians and sponsors together to showcase their best products.

Events typically include: A Weekend of Fine Art, a Grand Dinner, Mustard, Mud & Music (Calistoga Jazz Festival), The Marketplace (Signature Event for Connoisseurs), A Taste of Yountville, and The Mumm Napa Photo Finish Grand Finale Event... and more!

Treat yourself, family, friends and business associates to one of these fun events — get your tickets early before they sell out.

Wine-Tasting Retreat
Napa Valley is a charming place to get away from it all, relax, and have FUN.

Napa Valley Grapes - visit Napa Valley during Harvest Season or "Crush" (late Summer into Fall) - it's one of the most interesting and beautiful times of the year

Harvest Season or "Crush"
Napa Valley Wine Country is beautiful year-round. However, the most interesting time to visit the area is during the Harvest Season, or "Crush" (when the grapes are picked) — late Summer into Fall (August-October).
Note: The Harvest Season can vary.

However, there are still some Napa Valley wineries that offer free (or nominal fee) wine-tastings — and as an alternative, the wineries in nearby Sonoma Valley, San Francisco's East Bay, and the Monterey Peninsula offer good value too.
