Description & Atmosphere
Buck's —once featured on "Best of Millionaire Hangouts" on cable TV's Travel channel — is famous for more than its great food and friendly service. According to the show, more than 90% of Internet venture deals were kicked around here. Netscape and Hotmail both got their start at Buck's — on napkins no less!

Considering the clientele — and the fact that the restaurant is named after the town drunk — Buck's is also one of the most unpretentious restaurants in Silicon Valley.

Located in the quiet town of Woodside, Buck's is casual, with memorabilia lining the walls and hanging from the ceiling. It feels like an old curiosity shop and has a warm, homey atmosphere.

Food
We enjoy coming here for Brunch and recommend the Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Burrito, French Toast, Pancakes and Waffles.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Specials feature a variety of creative Seafood, Chicken, Lamb and Steak entrees, plus fresh salads and great burgers. We like the Chicken Tostadas, New England Lobster Claw Enchiladas, Chicken Pot Pie, and the Hot Crab and Melted Cheddar on baguette. Call ahead to see if your favorite Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner Specials are available (because they change on a regular basis).

Leave room for Buck's homemade killer Coffee Cake (see photo above). Served warm-hot, a slice can easily be split among several people. Buck's also has a full bar.
