When you need that burger fix, head over to Jeffrey's casual-style 1950's diner — it serves up some of the best-tasting, top-quality hamburgers on the Peninsula. If you like burgers, this place is hard to beat :)

The newer Menlo Park diner is more spacious than its original San Mateo counterpart — there's ample table, booth and counter seating. Both locations offer the same yummy burgers, fries and milkshakes.

Jeffrey’s was named for the son of the original owner, who went on to run George’s Giant Hamburger in Walnut Creek (great burgers too).

Food
Jeffrey's Hamburgers are so fresh and taste so good because they are made the old-fashioned way — patties are ground fresh and formed daily from USDA Choice Shoulder Chuck, with excess fat taken out to ensure that you get only the best quality. Juicy burgers come with all the trimmings — fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles.

In addition to a variety of fabulous burgers (including regular Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Bacon Burgers, Bacon Cheese Burgers, Mushroom Burgers, Pineapple Teriyaki Burgers, Avocado Burgers, Double Cheese Burgers, Patty Melt, Turkey Burgers and Garden Burgers), Jeffrey's menu selection also includes: Homemade Soups, assorted Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Fish & Chips, Prawns & Chips, Homemade Chili... and Fresh Salads.

As a perfect complement to our burger, we usually order the Garlic Fries — topped with a generous amount of shredded garlic and Parmesan cheese — soooooooo yummy! Jeffrey's Homemade Chili and Chili Cheese Fries are equally good... and filling. Ditto the crispy Onion Rings.

Enjoy thick Vanilla, Strawberry or Chocolate Milk Shakes — topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Root Beer Floats, Juices, Iced Tea, Beer and Wine-by-the-glass are also available.
