Mistral Restaurant ***
370-6 Bridge Parkway
(off Marine World Parkway)
Redwood Shores
650-802-9222
Cuisine: Mediterranean
 Description & Atmosphere
Mistral's beautiful waterfront location and its consistently good
food makes this one of our favorite Peninsula restaurants. It's
tucked away in Redwood Shores, just off Marine World Parkway,
a short drive from Hwy. 101 and Oracle's HQ. The property
has a dock so guests can arrive by boat.

Dining areas include the main split-level dining room— featuring
large windows facing the outside patio and lagoon, a wood-fired
oven
with counter
seating, and a cozy bar area — waterfront patio
seating, and
two private
wine cellar
rooms.
Food
Mistral's impressive Mediterranean menu combines Southern
French and Italian cuisine and features
fresh seasonal ingredients.
Fabulous
appetizers / salads include Thai Crab & Shrimp Spring Rolls
with Cilantro (stuffed with fresh crab and shrimp and accompanied
with a nice light sauce), Sonoma Goat
Cheese Fondue, Dungeness Crab Cake, and Warm Spinach-Wild Mushroom Salad with Roasted Goat Cheese.

House specialties
feature everything from Bacon Wrapped Angus Filet Mignon and Marinated
Colorado Lamb Chops to Roasted Sonoma
Chicken, Paella and Pan-Seared Sea Scallops.
We like the Sesame
Crusted Seared Rare Ahi Tuna (photo above), stacked
on top of Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and surrounded by long Chinese
green beans — absolutely
fantastic.

The Halibut Special (photo above) is another standout — it's
served atop a delicious Potato Pancake and stacked with mixed
Vegetables and a Smoked Salmon, Sweet Pepper and Avocado topping.
Wine Spectator Award Winner
Impressive selection
of fine wines from around the world — including wines by the
glass — at reasonable prices. We like the Chilean and Australian
wines. Mistral's accolades include Winner 2003 Wine Spectator
Magazine Award of Excellence.

Private Party Rooms
Two private wine cellar rooms are available for parties and
group events — ideal for Team-Building and entertaining VIPs.

The Chalkroom
The Chalkroom room is located directly off the
main dining room and seats up to 30 people.
The Wine Room
The Wine Room has a private entrance separate
from the main dining room and seats up to 50 people.
 Waterfront Patio
Dine al fresco overlooking the lagoon. This glass-protected seating
area features umbrella tables to keep you cool on warm summer
days, built-in heaters to keep you warm on chilly
nights, and a retractable roof that allows you to look out
at the surrounding tall trees.

The central point of the patio's dining area
features a giant cement gas-burning fireplace with a very large
hearth in front
of it and on the other end, two waterfalls
that run along the sides of the wall where you can sit — very
nice.

The Patio area is available for large groups
of up to 120 people.
