Description & Atmosphere
What a delightful dining experience! All the elements come together
at this stylish seafood restaurant, located in the historic Burlingame
train station. Like Aqua, its four-star sister restaurant in San
Francisco, Pisces offers an upscale menu with excellent seafood
and impeccable service. Even the occasional passing train adds to
its ambiance. Elegantly decorated, the sleek-looking restaurant
features two walls of windows, making it airy and cheerful inside.
Food
Their soups, salads and hot crusty rolls are delicious too.
Pisces also features one of Aqua's famous dishes the Savory
Black Mussel Soufflé in addition to its own signature
soufflé, Vegetarian Roquefort and Black Peppercorn. The menu
also features an impressive shellfish selection of Oysters, Clams,
Crab Legs and more.
You can't go wrong with the Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass
without a doubt, the best we've had. Other standouts include the
Swordfish, Sole, and Dungeness Crab Cioppino. Pisces also offers
a "Fish in the Raw" menu consisting of Aqua Tuna
Tartare, Marinated Hamachi Salad and a Daily Assorted Sashimi Selection.
Mouth-watering desserts are creatively presented. They almost
look too good to eat! The Chocolate Orange Mousse with Grand Marnier
has our vote. Full bar.
