Description & Atmosphere
One phrase you won't be
when you dine at this trendy neighborhood restaurant
the Beef?" Since Town first opened (in March 2006 in the Tivoli
Building on Laurel Street), it's been one of the most popular restaurants in San Carlos.
The casual, yet elegantly-styled dining
room features cozy leather booth seating in a dark, clubby
atmosphere. Noise levels
can be high, so don't come here
for quiet intimate conversation. Note: Dining outside is a great option if you want a quieter atmosphere — we actually prefer it!
Town's impressive menu offers
Dry Aged Steaks & Chops, Hand-Cut Filet Mignon and Prime
Rib, Premium Fresh Seafood, Wood-Fired Grill
and Rotisserie Chicken & Ribs, House Specialties, and

Tony's marinated Skirt Steak sits atop Garlic
Mashed Potatoes topped with Crispy Onion Strings,
surrounded by Green Beans. During one visit, we opted for a Baked Potato (and all the toppings) instead of the mashed — equally good and it's so big, you can split it between the two of you.
Town Signature Cut

We like the Creamed Spinach and Red-Wine Braised
The giant Pork Chop (pictured above) is also delicious — the hearty portion size reminded Barry of the pork chops in New York!
Lighter, casual menu items include:
Prime Rib Dip Sandwich with Homemade Cole Slaw or
French Fries; Town Burger with all the trimmings,
and Warm Napa Cabbage Burger, with
Napa Cabbage, Bleu Cheese, Bacon and Mushrooms.
The Fresh Lump Dungeness Crab Poppers, with
Tonyaki Sauce and Cucumber-Tomato Salad (photo above) is
absolutely sensational. The uncut leaf Caesar Salad is excellent as well.
