Description & Atmosphere
Elegant and romantic supper club dining at its best. Located in
an alley off Montgomery Street, it reminds us of the sort of place
where you have to give a password at the front door to gain entry.
Bustling social scene. Jazz nightly.
The interior has a dramatic dining room with large columns, high
ceilings, art deco lighting, and a beautiful mural over the bar.
We prefer the balcony seating upstairs — it's a little quieter,
the booths are comfortable, and it's a perfect spot for people-watching.
Food
Sensational food — we like the Chicken Hash a la Bix. Other
Bix Classics include: "Mr. Bix Fish Stix" Sole Goujonnettes,
Waldorf Salad, Crisp Potato Pancake with Smoked Salmon, Crème
Fraiche and Caviar, Steak Tartare, Maine Lobster Spaghetti, and
Grilled Filet Mignon with bacon, bearnaise and frites. The restaurant
also offers an impressive selection of fine wines.

Private Party Room
Bix is available for private parties for lunch and dinner, every
day except Friday nights. The restaurant can accommodate up to 100
people — divided fairly evenly between the main floor and mezzanine
— and up to 150 for cocktail receptions.

Lunch Mon-Fri from 11:30am.
Dinner Mon-Tues 5-10pm,
Wed-Thurs 5-11pm, Fri 5pm-12am,
Sat 5:30pm-12am, Sun 6-10pm

Reservations are highly recommended.
