If you're craving meat, Izzy's is one of the San Francisco Marina District's most popular eateries.

Named after a legendary San Francisco saloon keeper, Izzy Gomez, it was on his birthday — February 9, 1987 — that the restaurant first opened. Izzy's has a casual, clubby pub-like atmosphere.

Food
Famous for its fabulous selection of steaks — Izzy's house specialty is the New York Strip Steak (aged 21 days). Delicious Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, BBQ Ribs and Double Thick Pork Chops too.

The menu also features seafood specialties and a selection of lighter choices, including salads, hamburger and chicken dishes.

Entrees include two sides — our favorites are the Creamed Spinach and Izzy's Own Potatoes (Au Gratin Potatoes). Other choices include Baked Potato with all the trimmings, Roasted Garlic Whipped Potatoes, Shoe-String Potatoes, Corn Pudding, Roasted Carrots & Onions, Steamed Broccoli, and Steamed Asparagus.
