Description & Atmosphere
North Beach has so many fun Italian restaurants
and cafes that it's hard to choose which ones to go to.
One of our favorites is Ristorante Mona Lisa — a little
gem nestled on Columbus Avenue in the heart of North Beach.
Its
long cozy dining room has the feel of an authentic Italian trattoria.
It may not be the work of Michelangelo, but
the restaurant's painted walls and ceiling are a sight to behold!
Food

Lisa offers an extensive menu of delicious Pastas,
Risottos, Homemade
Pizzas,
Antipasti,
Veal,
Chicken
and Seafood entrées. Come with an appetite because the
portions are healthy.
If you're in a group, we recommend that you order a few of the
Antipasti dishes to start your meal — the Italian Sampler is
made up of brushetta, tomatoes Caprese (tomatoes, topped with
mozzarella and basil) and
Sicilian
Candy (wonderful caramelized roasted garlic) Yum! The Antipasto
Misto comes with a mix of proscuitto crudo, salame, mortadella,
cheeses and olives.
Enjoy a variety of fabulous pasta dishes — Spaghetti,
Fettuccine, Penne, Ravioli, Rigatoni, Tortellini, Gnocchi
and more... "Killer" Rigatoni Alla Borrelli, baked with spicy
sausage and eggplant in a tomato meat sauce :)
Excellent Veal Palero, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella
and eggplant.
All entrées are served with Penne Pasta and Sautéed
Spinach.

Mona Lisa is an ideal North Beach setting for entertaining family, friends, clients

music, and a casual, intimate setting. Note: There is no separate bar area.
After your meal, walk around North Beach — it's
always buzzing, especially after dark. It's one of our favorite areas in
San Francisco.
