Description & Atmosphere
Look for the bright blue neon glow outside Ed Moose's prime North Beach location —at night it virtually lights up Washington Square.

You can feel the buzz of Moose's even before you walk in the door. We've dined here often and it's always been fabulous.

If you're looking for a FUN place to dine with friends or clients, look no further. Moose's interior is spacious with high ceilings, large picture windows overlooking Washington Square, and an open kitchen at the far end of the restaurant. Meet new friends while dining at Moose's 20-person communal table.

Food
Contemporary American menu features classic dishes with an international twist.

When in season, we highly recommend the stacked Dungeness Crab Cocktail appetizer and Day Boat Scallops — both dishes are, in a word, sensational!

Other menu standouts include: Alaskan Halibut, Rhode Island Black Sea Bass, Monkfish, Atlantic Cod, Pan Roasted Duck, Rack of Lamb, Roasted Venison Chop, and Ed's famous "Mooseburger."

The Cheese Course, served with walnut bread and various accompaniments, adds a nice European touch. Yummy desserts too.
