Description & Atmosphere
Thanks again Candy, for the great restaurant recommendation. Now we have yet another good reason to visit San Francisco's beautiful Presidio.

The City by the Bay certainly has no shortage of great restaurants, however there's always room for one more. Trendy Pres a Vi overlooks the Letterman Digital
Arts Center gardens and the
Palace of Fine Arts.

Stunning inside and out, the
140-seat restaurant features a distinctive curved barrel ceiling
— it runs the entire length of the dining room (see photo below).

Enjoy a selection of fine wines
(also available by the glass and taste) right out of the Wine Room, located just inside the entrance (photo below).

Pres a Vi's dining areas include front, center and back dining rooms, cocktail lounge, two private party rooms — and an outdoor heated patio overlooking the Presidio's beautiful gardens.

Food
Sumptuous "small plates" menu features an array of international cuisine. Sharing is encouraged — a great way to experience "more" of the delightful flavors of the world.

Be sure to order the mini Duck Buns (photo below) — they're so yummy!

Sensational Seared Alaskan Halibut is another favorite — served with red Thai curry sauce, papaya-mint relish and fried garlic jasmine rice. Try the Grilled Asparagus with remoulade — it complements the fish nicely.

Other menu standouts include the Hawaiian Mahi-Mahi Fish Tacos (photo above) and the — Rock Shrimp Avacado Lumpia (photo below). Both entrees are light and tasty.

Get your burger fix with the Kobe Beef Bacon Cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon, served with fried potato wedges (photo below). Good Lamb Burgers too!

Private Party "VIP" Rooms
Pres a Vi has two very nice private dining rooms — the larger can accommodate up to 40 guests; the smaller room overlooks the gardens and seats up to 32 guests. Rooms can be combined for larger groups. Both are ideal for entertaining VIP clients and fun private parties.

Outdoor Heated Patio
Depending on the season, the restaurant's Outdoor Heated Patio can also be reserved for private events (photos below).
