Zero-Zero ***

Google Map of Zero-Zero

Cuisine: Italian

Description & Atmosphere
Zero-Zero is located next door to LuLu (a popular Mediterranean restaurant), just south of Market, within easy walking distance from Moscone Convention Center. Zero-Zero's 100-seat eatery features a split-level dining area, each with its own bar. The main dining area overlooks an open kitchen and pizza oven. We prefer sitting upstairs in the mezzanine — it has a more spacious feeling (and a view, depending on where you're sitting) and seems to have a little more buzz!

Fried Brussel Sprouts (with Pickled Burdock, Pear and Pancetta) - yummy appetizer at Zero-Zero in San Francisco, CA

Food
We highly recommend that you try Zero-Zero's yummy Fried Brussel Sprouts (with Pickled Burdock, Pear and Pancetta; pictured above) — it's one of the tastiest vegetable appetizers we've ever eaten!

Fillmore (Hen of the Woods Mushrooms, Leeks, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Pecorino, Fontina, Garlic and Thyme) - at Zero-Zero in San Francisco, CA

Zero-Zero is famous for its Pizzas — and nine of them are offered on the menu. One of its most popular is the Fillmore (Hen of the Woods Mushrooms, Leeks, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Pecorino, Fontina, Garlic and Thyme; pictured above) — we like to add Roasted Garlic to the topping... it makes all the difference.

Other favorites include the Castro (Sopressata, House-Made Sausage, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella and Basil) and the Townsend (Roasted Garlic, Young Organic Potato, Prosciutto Cotto, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Rosemary Oil).

The Marinara, Margherita, Margherita Extra Mission, Geary and a daily Seasonal Pizza are also offered.

In addition to Zero-Zero's specialty pizzas, you can enjoy a variety of Fresh Salads, Sandwiches and Pastas.

Save room to build your own dessert — with Straus Dairy organic soft-serve ice-cream and custom toppings. Yum!

Buon appetito!
