and the Golden Gate Bridge — it's a must-see destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Tram Tour. Visit historical sights and see spectacular views of San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, Sausalito, Tiburon and the Golden Gate Bridge aboard an open-air tram. Tours are available to individuals and groups.

The Cove Cafe
at Ayala Cove
The Cove Cafe at Angel Island's Ayala Cove is the starting and ending point for a bike ride around the island — you can rent bicycles here (available on a first-come, first-serve basis) or ride your own. It's a fun place to relax before and after your ride and enjoy the magnificent SF Bay views.
In October 2008, a massive brush-fire burned more than half of the state park over two days, closing the island for the rest of that year. Today, the island is more popular than ever — with tourists and locals alike!
