It originally premiered at the Savoy Tivoli in San Francisco's North Beach, June, 1974. Playing for well over 25 years, the show is an internationally acclaimed San Francisco institution. And it just keeps getting better, year after year!

Beach Blanket Babylon has it all — song, dance, comedy — and it continually evolves in its hilarious parodies of popular icons, updating its spoofs and adding new characters, songs, and send-ups throughout the year.

The funny, musical fairy-tale features performers in wildly extravagant costumes and outrageously huge hats. We've never seen a show quite like this one...anywhere in the world!
