Crissy Field Beach

Crissy Field Beach is located on the shoreline of San Francisco's
historic
Presidio — to
the southeast of the Golden Gate Bridge,
between the Palace
of Fine Arts and Fort Point.

The newly-restored 100-acre site of tidal marsh and beaches along
the bay shore has been transformed into a spectacular national
parkland that includes thousands of water birds, native plants,
walking paths and sandy beaches.

Its
stunning Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island and San Francisco
Bay views makes it one of the city's most popular
destinations — it's our favorite place to take a walk.

Tourists and locals alike
flock here, especially on weekends and sunny days, to walk their
dogs, jog, bicycle, windsurf, swim, sunbathe, or just hang
out and people-watch. Note: The water is very COLD and
the surf can be dangerous.

No beach admission
fee.
