Museum
opened its doors on June
8, 2008.
The
museum explores contemporary perspectives on Jewish culture, history,
art and ideas.

The new San Francisco cultural
landmark is conveniently located
in downtown San Francisco, near the Moscone Convention
Center, upscale hotels and city attractions.


Cafe on the Square
The museum's Cafe on the Square is located on the East end of the Grand Lobby.
Enjoy casual fare — soups, salads, sandwiches and Jewish favorites.
Indoor and outdoor seating — dine al fresco overlooking Jessie Square
and Yerba Buena Gardens (weather permitting). Kosher Beer & Wine.

on the building's main level. The store can also be accessed through the Museum's

A CultureBus ticket is good for unlimited

Ten Portraits Reconsidered

On view for the first time on the West Coast, Andy
Warhol’s
original paintings from his extraordinary series, "Ten Portraits
of Jews of the Twentieth Century."
The exhibit portrays
a pantheon of great Jewish thinkers, politicians, performers, musicians,
and
writers — Albert Einstein, Frank Kafka, George Gershwin,
Gertrude Stein, Golda Meir, Louis Brandeis, Martin Buber, Sarah
Bernhardt, The Marx Brothers and Sigmund Freud. Don't miss this
exciting exihibit!

Stephen and Maribelle Leavitt "Yud" Gallery
The spacious gallery (pictured above) features a 60-foot ceiling and 36 skylights — it's
a stunning setting for Cocktail Receptions, Dinners, Corporate Parties, or Special
Events. Koret-Taube Grand Lobby
Elegant and roomy, the Grand Lobby space is ideal for Cocktail Receptions and
Dinners.

Richard and Rhoda Goldman Hall
This versatile room (pictured above) can
be used for a variety of events, including theatrical performances,
lectures, or as an open space for Corporate Events, Dinners and
Cocktail Receptions.
Sala Webb Education Center
The area includes two classrooms and an
open lobby area. These spaces can be used for Artistic or Educational
Events, Receptions, Conferences, or Private Meetings.
