African Hall, a favorite venue from the original museum, is located on Level
The area features recreations of animals in their
natural settings — 21 African dioramas showcase zebras, gorillas,
lions, and leopards.
African Hall also includes a colony of South
African Penguins (located at the far
end of African Hall).

Additionally, five of the African Hall's dioramas
will feature live animals, including chameleons, tortoises, endangered
cichlids from Lake Malawi and a rock python.

memories of the Academy's original African Hall.
