— "Calder To Warhol:
The Fisher Collection"
"Calder To Warhol
Introducing the Fisher Collection"
— June 25-Sept 19, 2010
"Calder To Warhol: Introducing the Fisher Collection" — a major exhibition drawn from the 1,100 works in the Fisher Collection — showcases more than 160 artworks (paintings, sculptures, photographs and video works).
It's the first time that this collection (a family treasure to the Fisher's) is on display to the general public.
One of the largest exhibitions ever presented at SFMOMA — the collection takes up the entire top two floors of the museum, including the Rooftop Sculpture Garden (pictured below).
See works by iconic 20th century artists — Alexander Calder, Chuck Close, Ellsworth Kelly, Anselm Kiefer, Roy Lichtenstein, Agnes Martin, Gerhard Richter, Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, and many more!
"Calder To Warhol" exhibit is on display at SFMOMA from June 25-September 19, 2010.
