Description & Atmosphere
You may already be familiar with Maggiano’s Little Italy
restaurants – they’re dotted around the U.S. However,
this is the first one to open in Northern California. It’s
conveniently located at San Jose’s popular Santana
Row, on
the corner of Winchester Blvd. The 220-seat restaurant is very
similar to Carmine’s in Manhattan and (on a smaller scale)
Buca di Beppo. The main dining room offers table and booth
seating in a clubby informal atmosphere - it’s surprisingly
quiet for such a large and busy space.
Food
Enjoy Maggiano’s House Specialties, homemade
pastas, delicious salads, prime steaks, fresh fish and
yummy desserts. Food is served family-style for tables
of four or more. Portions are huge and meant to be shared.
The family-style option also lets you order “more” of
anything you like – you won’t leave hungry…that’s
for sure! Menu standouts include: Mussels and Barb’s
Spinach & Artichoke al Forno appetizers, Maggiano’s
and Caesar salads, Mostaccioli Eggplant Marina and the
Linguine with Chicken, Pesto and Pine Nuts, Chicken
Parmesan and Salmon with Lemon & Herbs, and for dessert,
Tiramisu and the fabulous Nonna’s
Pound Cake.

Party Rooms and
Al Fresco Patio Dining
Maggiano’s is ideal for group lunches, dinners and special
events. Private and semi-private banquet rooms can accommodate
up to 150 people. Room decor features rich oak paneling,
crystal chandeliers and hardwood floors.
Guests can also dine al fresco in the Patio
Courtyard, located just off the restaurant’s front entrance
(photo above).
Live Entertainment
Maggiano’s large bustling bar area features live entertainment
Wednesday-Saturday starting at 6pm.

After your meal, we recommend

Santana Row
and enjoy
its European-style
promenade, featuring swanky shops and designer boutiques,
fine restaurants and outdoor cafes, live entertainment,
and landscaped parks and plazas.
