When driving to Carmel or Monterey from San Francisco or the Peninsula, you may want to take a Starbucks or shopping break along the way at Gilroy Premium Outlets.

Depending upon the traffic, Gilroy Premium Outlets are about a 1-1/2 hours drive from Foster City and the SF Bay Area Peninsula.

Tip: Take Hwy 85 to Hwy 101 So. to save time...and it's a nicer road.

Carmel and Monterey are only about a 45-50 minutes drive from Gilroy.

Note: Unless you're taking a break for coffee or lunch, we suggest you stop by the outlets on your way "back" from Carmel or Monterey, otherwise you may be tempted to spend all your money beforehand!

From San Francisco/San Jose, take the Leavesley Road exit from Hwy. 101. The Outlet Center is less than an hour away from the South Bay.
