Lower Tram Station
at Getty Center
Getty Center's air-conditioned electric cable-driven 3-car Tram elevates visitors from a Lower Tram Station at the street-level parking facility to the top of the hill.
The 5-minute ride reaches a top speed of 10mph and travels about 3/4's of a mile to the summit — it's fast, easy and fun!
Parking at Getty Center
Parking is available at Getty Center garage for $15 per car. Pay at main entrance (credit cards are accepted).
Park in garage and take the elevator to T2 to get the Tram. Expect a line (it moves quickly). See beautiful sculptures in The Fran & Ray Stark Sculpture Garden as you wait to board the Tram.
Try to arrive early before the parking garage fills up — parking is limited.
Note: Parking is Free after 5pm for the Getty Center's evening hours (on Saturdays from 5-9pm), as well as for all evening public programming, including music, film, lectures, and other special programs.
Parking for electric vehicles is available on parking level P2 of the Getty Center.
