State Street
State Street is the most popular street in downtown Santa Barbara — it runs for miles, starting at Stearns Wharf on the Waterfront. It's a fun place to stroll and people-watch, especially during weekend nights when the place is bustling.

Trendy restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs are dotted along the famous street, outdoor arcades and side roads.

And there are so many specialty shops and department stores located here — it will keep you shopping for hours.

Downtown Waterfront Electric Trolley
Hop aboard Santa Barbara's Downtown Waterfront Electric Trolley — it runs along State Street and the Waterfront starting at 9am until 6pm year-round, ('til 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays during the Summer).

Just 25 cents a ride (one-way) and children under 5 ride free, it's a bargain — and a great way to see Santa Barbara's Waterfront and State Street.
