Chickens of Key West
Gypsy Chickens (as they are known locally) can be spotted walking the streets of Key West — there are approximately 2,000-3,000 of them.

The chickens have been in Key West since the mid-1800s when they were first brought in for food.

Today, the chickens are a part of life and culture in Key West — they sure add an an interesting element to your travel photos!
