Getting Around Chicago
Chicago is a great walking city — and
it was recently voted the "best bicycling city in the country."
Besides walking and cycling,
visitors can also get around Chicago via Bus, Subway, Train,
Free Trolley
and Water
Taxi.
The city's downtown
Pedway (pedestrian walkway) — a network of underground
tunnels and overhead bridges, linking 40+ blocks in the heart
of Chicago — is used by visitors and locals alike, especially
during the cold winter months.
