1. Angel Park
A superb complex with 36 holes of Arnold Palmer-designed golf and
spectacular views of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Valley.
Billing itself as "the world's most complete golf experience," the facility also includes a lighted par 3 course with replica
holes of famous courses and an on-site golf academy.
2. Badlands - NOW CLOSED
A collaborative design effort between PGA Tour icons Johnny Miller
and Chi Chi Rodriguez, this 27-hole complex is set on rugged
terrain with dramatic arroyos, crevices and rock-strewn desert
expanses. This is true desert golf in a rough and tumble setting.
Located on the Strip, this tropical-like gem with palm-lined fairways,
100,000 exotic plants, dozens of white sand bunkers and numerous
water features looks decidedly different than other Las Vegas
courses. Blindingly white beach sand in bunkers and volcanic
rock outcroppings enhance the island ambience.
4. Bear's Best
Features 18 spectacular holes selected by Jack Nicklaus from his
200 course designs worldwide. Four holes are taken from Desert
Mountain in Scottsdale, Ariz., three from PGA West in Palm
Springs, Calif., two each from Old Works in Anaconda, Mont.,
and Las Campanas in Santa Fe, N.M., and one hole replication
from seven other courses, including Cabo de Sol in San Jose del
Cabo, Mexico, and Castle Pines Golf Club in Colo.
5. Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
Situated in the desert northwest of Las Vegas on the Paiute Indian
Reservation, the three championship 18-hole Pete Dye-designed
courses take full advantage of the serenity of the desert and
views of Mt. Charleston and Sheep Mountain.

Valley Golf Club
Set on the Nevada-California border about an hour from Las Vega, Primm Valley
has two Tom Fazio-designed courses that are both on the coveted Golf Magazine "Top
100 Courses You Can Play" list. The Lake Course has lakes, winding
creeks and waterfalls. The Desert Course is dominated by elaborate sculpted bunkers.

7. Reflection Bay
Combining a majestic desert setting with mountainous foothills,
deep ravines and flowing creeks and the largest man-made lake
in Nevada, Reflection Bay at the resort complex of Lake Las Vegas,
is regarded as one of the area's best layouts. The multiple tee
boxes on the Jack Nicklaus design make the course enjoyable for
a wide variety of skill levels.
8. Rio Secco
Picturesque and playable with spacious landing areas, Rio Secco,
a Rees Jones design, features six dynamic canyon holes, six plateau
holes playing atop the desert and six that wind through wide
desert washes and ancient riverbeds.
9. Siena Golf Club
Surrounded by mountains high above the city affording stunning
panoramic views, the Siena course is highlighted by
Lake Siena, a quarter-mile long lake with cascading waterfalls.
The layout winds its way through native desert and lush landscaping
with six lakes and 95 white sand bunkers.

10. TPC at the Canyons
Designed by PGA Tour Design Services and Raymond Floyd as player
consultant, the course has a multitude of trees, elevation changes and steep
ravines. The numerous forced carries and prevalent wind put a
premium on course strategy and shotmaking.
