Here are some of the past exhibits that have been featured at the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum over the years:

Robert Mapplethorpe and the Classical Tradition
Robert Mapplethorpe and the Classical Tradition explored the dialogue between the photographs of Robert Mapplethorpe (1946–1989) and classical art, in particular late-16th-century Flemish Mannerist prints, through the engravings and woodcuts of Hendrick Goltzius, Jan Harmensz. Muller, Jacob Matham, and Jan Saenredam.

The exhibition centered around Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640), one of the most creative artists of the 17th century.

A Century of Painting: From Renoir to Rothko included paintings by Cézanne, Chagall, Kandinsky, Gaugin, Kokoschka, Matisse, Miró, Modigliani, Monet, Picasso, Pollock, Renoir, Rothko, van Gogh and others.
