of the attractions are free and the people-watching is priceless — it's a great place to escape for a long Winter Getaway Weekend.
Note: The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes place in Las Vegas during the first or second week of January every year — it's the largest consumer electronics show in the U.S., drawing over 130,000 people from around the world... so be prepared for crowds.

of Bellagio Water Show"
and Indoor Botanical Gardens
No matter what time of year we're visiting Las Vegas, we always make time to see the "Fountains of Bellagio
Water Show" — it's
even more magnificent at night... and it's free! Stroll through Bellagio's
indoor Botanical Gardens and Conservatory — it's gorgeous flowers, plants and trees change with the seasons (our favorite
is during the winter Holiday Season)... and
it's free too! Art lovers will enjoy the Bellagio Gallery
of Fine Art and its
rotating exhibitions.
2. Venetian - Venice in Vegas!
Visit St. Mark's Square and the Grand Canal
Shoppes.
Marvel at the spectacular re-creation
of Michelangelo's painted ceilings. If you're in Vegas with your honey, enjoy a Romantic
Gondola
Ride along the Grand Canal and piazzas, complete with a serenading gondolier.
Take your kids to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum for a fun
interactive experience.
Dine or enjoy cocktails at Tao — its restaurant,
bar and nightclub offer
one
of
the
most
visually
dramatic
settings
in
Las
Vegas.

3. The Mirage - White Tigers, Dolphins and Volcano Show
Visit Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden,
home to some of the world's rarest and most exotic animals, including White
Tigers and Tiger Cubs. Admission
includes entrance into the Dolphin Habitat — be a Dolphin Trainer for the day! Don't miss the Volcano
Show — it's spectacular...
and it's FREE! Visit the Carnegie
Deli — it's
the perfect place to get your "New York Deli fix." The
food is great and the portions are huge, so go with an appetite!
4. Caesars Palace & Forum Shops
If you like to shop (and even if you don't), it's worth a trip
to the Forum Shops — part of the
mall's interior is a recreation of ancient Rome. Enjoy the free Atlantis animatronics
extravaganza show and the Festival
Fountain sound, light and
laser show — fun for kids and big kids too! "Make
a Wish" as you toss a coin into the Trevi
Fountain.

5. Mandalay Bay
Visit the Shark
Reef and "Dive
with the Sharks." Chill
out at minus
5° Ice Bar & Lounge (everything inside is
made of ice!). Enjoy cocktails at Red
Square Vodka Bar. Check out the "Wine Angels" on
the 4-story wine tower at Aureole.
For wonderful Las Vegas views after dark,
visit Mix Lounge atop THEhotel at Mandalay Bay (rooftop restaurant open for dinner only). Enjoy a cocktail at dusk and watch Vegas light up at night.
Note: Mandalay Bay's beautiful white
sandy beach/wave pool is closed over the winter season, but its Moorea Beach Club is open (weather permitting).

Want to see some of the best views of Las
Vegas, especially at night? Get tickets to the Eiffel
Tower Experience — the Observation Deck offer spectacular panoramic views. Paris Las Vegas is located
right across from Bellagio, so if you time it right, you can also get a bird's
eye
view
of Bellagio's Fountain
Water Show — it's especially stunning at night. Dine at Mon
Ami Gabi — it
overlooks the Las Vegas Strip (and has glass-enclosed private and semi-private rooms directly across from the Bellagio Water Show)... and it's fun for people-watching!

10. Wynn Las Vegas
Where else but at Wynn Las Vegas can you shop
under one roof for Manolo Blahnik's and Ferraris! Visit Wynn's Ferrari
Maserati Showroom. Surreal doesn't even begin to
describe the Lake of Dreams "evening" show
— it shimmers over the lake with 4,000 color-changing lights and
magnificent special effects. This fun show is open to the public and it's
free! Come back to Wynn Resort during warmer weather to enjoy its picturesque canal-like
pools and private cabanas.

11. NY-NY (New York-New York)
If you like Roller-Coasters, you're gonna love
this one! Speeds reach up to 67mph with steep climbs up to 203 feet and thrilling
drops to 144 feet.
We recommend you eat afterwards.
Walk across the pedestrian bridge (between NY-NY and MGM) to MGM Grand
Hotel & Casino — you
get a great view of the Strip from here, so don't forget your camera.
12. MGM Grand & Lion Habitat
Visit MGM Grand's Lion Habitat — it draws over one million visitors a year!
Watch
the lions and the lion cubs as they interact with each other.
13. Palazzo Resort & Lamborghinis
Palazzo is located next to the Venetian. Enjoy
fun "On-the-Strip" dining at Palazzo restaurants. Visit the Strip's only Lamborghini dealership and tour the 20,000-sq-ft showroom — featuring the most

Treasure
Island's "The Sirens of TI" "adult-oriented" (free) outdoor show features sword-fighting, dancing,
music, high-diving acrobatics and spectacular pyrotechnics.
15. Stratosphere Views & Thrill Rides
At 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding
observation tower in the US. Enjoy panoramic views of
the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley. Make your kids
happy — The Stratosphere boasts
the World's Four Highest Thrill Rides — Sky Jump, X Scream, Big Shot and Insanity the Ride.

Golden Nugget Pool "The Tank" & Waterslide is

area. Open year-round (weather permitting), the heated pool "shark tank" and 3-story
secured waterslide draws over 250,000 visitors
a year — it's the only one of its kind in the U.S. Daily
admission fee for

18. Mob Museums
What better place than Vegas for a Mob Museum... or two! "Las Vegas Mob Experience" (a rival mob museum tied to the daughter of the famed Chicago mob boss Sam Giacana) is located at the Tropicana Casino)... and "The Las Vegas Museum
of Organized Crime
and Law Enforcement" (opens February 2012) in the old downtown federal courthouse (the site of the 1950 mob hearings led by Senator Estes Kefauver of Tennessee).
