St. Patrick's Cathedral

St. Patrick's Cathedral
Construction first began at St. Patrick's Cathedral in 1858 and was completed in 1878. It opened on May 25, 1879 — today, the popular NY national landmark is visited by over five million people every year.

History and architecture buffs won't want to miss visiting the stunning 328-ft Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic Cathedral, located across from Rockefeller Center (at 5th Avenue, between 50th and 51st Streets).

Enjoy touring St. Patrick's Cathedral during your next visit to NYC — marvel at its spectacular interior, beautiful stained glass windows, ornate columns, and giant organ with over 7,000 pipes. Open Mon-Sun 6:30am-8:45pm*

The Cathedral is open until 10pm on the night of the Christmas Tree lighting at Rockefeller Center.

Gift Shops are open daily. Cathedral Gift Shop 8:30am-8pm; Storefront (@ 15 East 51st St) 10am-6pm.
