How Love to Eat and Travel
Got Started
Love to Eat and Travel was co-founded by Alana and Barry Ross. Barry is from New York and Alana hails from London, England. The company is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

We enjoy Traveling, Dining Out and finding Fun Things To Do. As a result of our travels, friends, clients and business associates often ask us for recommendations on Restaurants, Hotels, City Tours, Meeting Facilities, Fun Things To Do and Places To Visit.

We came up with the idea of a Travel & Dining Newsletter on our honeymoon in Europe in 1984. Finally... in the Fall of 1990, we launched our premier issue of Love to Eat and Travel. In September 1996, we converted the printed version to a
web-based format. Our Love to Eat and Travel Gift Store was launched in 2004. A few years later, we started our Love to Eat and Travel Blog, followed by Twitter @FunThingsToDo and our Love to Eat and Travel Facebook page.
