Las Ramblas (La Rambla)
Be sure to visit Las Ramblas, Barcelona's famous tree-lined pedestrian avenue. Its cozy restaurants, tapas bars, outdoor cafes, bird markets, flower stalls, pet stalls, mime artists and street performers make it a popular venue with locals and tourists alike. Day or night, Las Ramblas is a great street for strolling, eating, shopping and people-watching!

Las Ramblas begins at the Plaça Portal de la Pau (Columbus Monument), opposite the port, and stretches north to the Plaça de Catalunya. Along the way, see the Liceu (Barcelona's Opera House) and  visit Boqueria Market (Barcelona's famous Food Market).
