Gilligan's Island — yes...that one... made famous in the popular
60's TV show — is noted to be located in the Bahamas, near Paradise Island
and Nassau/New Providence Island. Additional filming of the TV show also took place in
Hawaii and at a studio in Los Angeles.

*According to Bert (one of our readers), the island in the opening shot of "Gilligan's Island" was an island in the Pacific called Palm Island.
The Gilligan's Island / Sandy Cay / Honeymoon Island was used as a photo for the DVD release of "Gilligan's Island."
