Champs-Élysées

Champs-Élysées
Champs-Élysées is the main boulevard in Paris. It runs from the Arc de Triomphe, at one end, to the Egyptian obelisk — the oldest man-made object in Paris — at the other end, at Place de la Concorde.

The best time to walk down the Champs-Élysées is after dark, when the city really comes alive. It's also nice during the daytime, but if you don't like crowds, try to avoid the rush-hour period.

Take a leisurely stroll along the boulevard and enjoy the shops and little cafés. The Champs-Élysées draws a cosmopolitan crowd — it's great for people-watching.

Bastille Day Celebrations
— July 14

Bastille Day (a French national holiday, referred to as La Fête de la Bastille or La Fête Nationale) takes place on July 14 every year — to mark the anniversary of the "Storming of the Bastille" in Paris on July 14, 1789.

Thousands of spectators join in the celebrations and line the Champs-Elysees to watch the annual Military Parade, followed by fun Street Fairs around the city, and ending in a spectacular Fireworks Display at the Eiffel Tower.

Fun Event Location
Treat your Team to Lunch or Dinner at one of the restaurants or outside cafés located along the Champs-Élysées.

Jardin de Tuileries
Stroll through this famous landscaped garden on your way to the Louvre or before walking down the Champs-Élysées. Comfortable deck chairs surround the fountains — relax and people-watch.

Closest Metro
