White Shark
Sharks are always a popular attraction at any aquarium — and the "White Shark" at the Monterey Bay Aquarium was no exception. The white shark was brought to the aquarium on August 27, 2007 — before being tagged and released into the wild on September 7, 2007. Monterey Bay Aquarium remains the only aquarium in the world ever to exhibit a white shark for more than 16 days.
