Bombay Garden ***
172 E. 3rd Avenue at Ellsworth
Description & Atmosphere
Craving Indian food? Come to San Mateo's
popular Bombay Gardens. This basic, no frills restaurant is always
crowded and for good reason they have great food
at reasonable prices.
Casual atmosphere and friendly service. Seating is somewhat limited
in the long, narrow dining room, so be prepared to wait, especially
during peak hours.
Bombay Garden uses only the
finest ingredients to prepare dishes that are both nutritious and delicious.
We really like their daily Grand
Maharajas Lunch Buffet —
the quality and variety is exceptional. It's much better than other Indian
restaurants we've frequented over the years.
The menu offers a variety of tasty appetizers— Samosas & Pakoras,
Tandoori Chicken, Aloo Tikki and more.
Enjoy traditional Indian
Soups & Salads, Tandoori Clay Oven Specials, Savory Rice Dishes and
Vegetarian, Seafood, Lamb
and Chicken Specials.
Dinner Mon-Wed 5-9:30pm,
Reservations are encouraged, especially during peak times.
Metered Street Parking and nearby parking garages.
Other SF Bay Area
and San Rafael
Bombay Garden Newark can accommodate up to 550 people
for Private Parties and Special Events.
