Cuisine: Hawaiian Fusion

Description & Atmosphere
Chef Roy Yamaguchi's distinctive Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine is world-renowned. His restaurant in Honolulu was the first to open in 1988 — today there are now 30 Roy’s restaurants, including 21 in the Continental U.S., 6 in Hawaii, 2 in Japan and 1 in Guam.

Roy's San Francisco restaurant is thriving. The high-energy cosmopolitan eatery is a great place to bring clients and out-of-town guests. Its spacious dining area is quite striking, with high ceilings, colorful Hawaiian art, and an impressive floor-to-ceiling wine cellar stocked with award-winning wines.

Food
Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine is extraordinary, blending fresh local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices — always with an emphasis on seafood.

The menu changes daily, but
"Roy's Classics" — menu favorites — are a staple at Roy's restaurants everywhere. Roy’s Original Hawaiian Blackened Island Ahi atop a Spicy Soy Mustard Butter (above) — it's absolutely incredible.

The Lobster & Prawn Potstickers are the lightest, tastiest potsticker appetizers we've eaten in a while. And Softshell Crab lovers will delight in Roy's Fresh Island Salad of Boston Bibb, Candied Ginger & Crispy Softshell Crab with a Wasabi Vinaigrette (below).

Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé (flourless chocolate cake with a molten hot center; served a la mode) is a house favorite. Yum!

Award-winning wine list and open bar featuring Hawaiian martinis.
