Music Concourse
The Music Concourse (and Bandshell)
is located in Golden Gate Park, flanked
on each side by two of San Francisco's finest museums —
the de Young Museum and the California
Academy of Sciences... and just steps away from the beautiful Japanese
Tea Garden.
 New benches have been installed in the area — enjoy free concerts
in a beautiful park setting among the
trees.

Free Concerts
Since 1882, the Golden Gate Park Band has been playing FREE public concerts
on Sundays in Golden Gate Park.
Today, they are still going strong. Concerts feature everything from Classical,
Folk Music, Marches and Opera to Swing, Big Band and Broadway Shows.
The Golden Gate Park Band performs at 1pm every
Sunday (late April-early Oct) in Golden Gate Park's Music Concourse.
Concerts run approximately two hours.
Free admission.
