First Super Bowl & Winning Team
The first Super Bowl was held in 1966. The Green Bay Packers won the first Super Bowl, defeating the AFL Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. In 1967 they won a second Super Bowl, defeating the AFL Oakland Raiders. (They went on to win two more Super Bowls (1997 and 2011).

MVP of the First Two Super Bowls
Bart Starr (Quarterback of the Green Bay Packers) was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the first two Super Bowls in 1966 and 1967. (Aaron Rodgers, GBP Quarterback, was named MVP of Super Bowl 2011).

Vince Lombardi Trophy
Vince Lombardi was the first coach of the Green Bay Packers and the Super Bowl Trophy is named after him.

— First Team to Win 5 Super Bowls
Led by legendary coach Bill Walsh (and his famous West Coast Offense) — and Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Montana at Quarterback — the San Francisco 49ers won four Super Bowls in the 1980's, making the team the most successful of the decade. After winning Super Bowl XXIX in 1995, the SF 49ers became the first team to win five Super Bowls.

Super Bowl 2011 made TV history. Over 111 million viewers tuned in to watch Super Bowl XLV (Green Bay Packers vs Pittsburgh Steelers). It was the most watched TV show of ALL time!

Super Bowl 2010 (New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts) was the second most watched TV show of all time (106.5 million), knocking out the series finale of MASH.
