Grand Canyon Skywalk
Visit the Grand Canyon's newest attraction — the Skywalk.
Located at Grand Canyon West Rim on the Hualapai Indian Reservation,
the
Skywalk opened to the public on March 28, 2007.
Glass Skywalk
Step out onto a glass-floored, 70-foot long, open-air Skywalk observation deck
that juts out 4,000 feet above the canyon floor and the Colorado River.
Before
venturing out from the canyon's rim onto the transparent U-shaped
3-inch-thick glass platform, visitors must slip on special
non-scuff, non-slip booties.
Built to withstand hurricanes
and earthquakes, the Skywalk is sure to become one of the most
FUN and visited attractions in Arizona.
