Boston Footsteps to Freedom Walking
Tour
Walk the Freedom Trail
A trek along the Freedom Trail is
a walk through Boston's past. Wind your way back into history and
follow
the trail
traveled
by the Patriots in their fight for independence.
Visualize the
scenes and listen to the echo of Patriots in their struggle to
break away
from British rule.
As you walk the Freedom Trail, you'll discover
many of the sites that played an important role in the American Revolution.
You'll be at the actual sites where historic events
took place. Find out which government building nearly went to Chicago,
and which historic
building was used as a British riding school. And, which U.S. president
once defended British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre?
