The Fran & Ray Stark
Sculpture Terrace
The Fran & Ray Stark Sculpture Terrace (and its five bronze sculptures by Rodin, Magritte, Malloil, Arp, Noguchi ) are located outdoors near Getty Center's West Pavilion.

Our favorite is the "Delusions of Grandeur" (1967) by René Magritte — it makes a fun picture (photo right), especially if you stand behind it and wave!

"Air" Sculpture at Entrance
The beautiful "Air" sculpture by Aristide Maillot (pictured below) is located just in front of Getty Center's main Entrance Hall — you'll pass right by it on your way up the stairs.

Getty Museum Sculptures
The Getty Museum's galleries house an extensive selection of fine sculptures. Many of them can be found inside the following Pavilions:

  • North Pavilion (Plaza Level)
  • East Pavilion (Plaza Level)
  • West Pavilion (Plaza Level)

The Fran & Ray Stark Sculpture Garden
See beautiful sculptures while waiting to board the tram to take you up to the Getty Museum. The Fran & Ray Stark Sculpture Garden is located at the platform level. Enjoy!

South Pavilion Outdoor Deck
The South Pavilion's Upper Level outdoor deck space features several sculptures.

There's also a beautiful rectangular Birds of Paradise Garden — we've never seen so many Bird of Paradise and Hummingbirds in one place before — it was magical!

From the deck you can also enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains, Bel Air, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown L.A., Century City, Santa Ana Mountains, and Westwood.
